Hand Cut Oatcake Wedges. Made to a traditional Highland recipe. With Black Cuillin Ale (from The Isle of Skye Brewing Company) instead of water, these have a gentle malted flavour. Excellent with venison or mature cheddar.
Ingredients: Oats (gluten), wheat flour (gluten), ale (gluten from barley), lard, salt, onions seeds, raising agent: bicarbonate of soda.
Established in 2007 The Isle of Skye Baking Company bakes 12 flavours of shortbread and 8 of oatcakes, as well as gingerbread, biscotti, fruitcake, tablet, artisan breads and a range of jams and chutneys.
