Originally from the Isle of Lewis, Christine Coll was no stranger to working with the public prior to joining the ranks of the bakery, having been previously employed as a midwife. These days, rather than babies, it is first-class customer service she delivers in her role as manager of the Isle of Skye Baking Company. No matter the task, whether it be making a variety of delicious soups, creating an array of magnificently moreish tablet, or curating one of our show-stopping platters, Christine does so with consummate ease and humbling modesty.
Like any great manager, Christine is adept at motivating and organising her team, as well as providing a courteous and friendly service for those eating and shopping in our cafe/food shop.
In her free-time (when she can find some!) she enjoys listening to a variety of music and is also a great lover of radio and lists Bob Harris’ show on Radio 2 and Cuillin FM’s Persons of Interest among her favourite programmes. She also likes to relax by watching films with her family. Christine’s easy-going personality, poise under pressure and herculean work effort renders her an irreplaceable figure at the Isle of Skye Baking Company.
